Spanish design studio Masquespacio have created an immersive living room environment for Roca Tile at Casa Decor, a one-month long event that showcases different types of spaces developed by various designers and brands, set within in an ancient building in Madrid.

Masquespacio’s concept living room utilises Roca ceramic tiles within the custom-design interior. In addition to the walls and floor, the tiles are utilised on all the furniture pieces too. Dubbed ‘Ceramic Dream’, the space pays tribute to ceramics with a nod to contemporary Greco-Roman architecture and surrealist fantasies, all while capturing the idea of timelessness.

Conceived as ‘A Look to the Future from the Past’, this concept interior explores new ways of incorporating ceramic tiles in the total environment. The polished finish and light-enhancing effects and reflectivity of porcelain tiles in luminous finishes, such as the indigo and cobalt blue are reminiscent of Marble Nouveau and the white tiles with ochre streaks are an homage to Marble Parana.
