What do you get when you mix Architecture, Symmetry, Minimalism, Fashion, Friendship and the most Perfect Colour Palettes? An ongoing image series titled Other On, produced by two talented photographers and friends – June Kim and Michelle Cho.

With a background in marketing and advertising, June Kim is based in San Francisco, while Michelle Cho is based in London. Despite being geographically challenged, the pair manage to produce their super cool-town images creating during trips to Los Angeles, New Mexico and Spain, serving as a creative documentation of the places they’ve visited for others to enjoy. “Somewhere between dreams and reality. I’m constantly inspired by locations—places with poetry, geometry, and a story to tell,” explains Kim.

There is a strong sense of duality at play in all of these images – although perfectly composed and deliciously captivating, a heightened sense of intrigue and drama is achieved thanks to the subjects who almost always have their faces turned away from the camera. Add to the mix some pretty epic architecture, like Ricardo Bofill‘s iconic La Muralla Roja (The Red Wall) housing project located within the La Manzanera development in Spain’s Calpe, and you’ve got yourself a killer photography series that will stay in my mind long after the ongoing internet vortex sucks it away from my screen.
