Bernhardt Design at KE-ZU + Super HOT Giveaway!

Oh man, this is almost too much excitement for a Wednesday, but I’m up for it. Shall we? Lets do it!

Our friends at KE-ZU are super excited to announce the launch of a brand new furniture range to add to their already impressive stable – Bernhardt Design. For those of you who may not be familiar with the company, Sydney-based KE-ZU “supplies furniture that makes people feel good”. The company was founded in 1992 with a singular vision of delivering an extensive range of residential and contract furniture, that has become synonymous with the way we live and work today.

As for Bernhardt Design – the company was founded in 1889 by John M. Bernhardt. After he was orphaned at 13, John went to Oregon to become a government surveyor but returned home three years later to pursue a career as a logger and timber cutter. After buying a sawmill, he saw an opportunity to use timber for sturdy oak bedroom furniture. As the business grew, new products were added to expand the range. Over the years, internationally acclaimed designers have joined their creative team, including big names like Arik Levy, Ross Lovegrove, Jaime Hayon and Yves Béhar (see the full list of designers here).
