Hello everyone. I’m baaaaack! Did you miss me? No? Well… I missed you guys. A lot. I hope everyone enjoyed their break and that you are feeling pumped about 2011. I sure do – BIG TIME. Hooray! I love January and beginnings of a New Year. It’s such an exciting time with all the planning and thinking about the opportunities that the year ahead will bring. Anything seems possible.

I wanted to kick off this year with these incredible high-res video projections created by the Spanish artist Ibon Mainar titled ‘Proyecciones en el Exterior’. Ibon uses outdoor landscapes as his canvas on which he projects lights that create temporary ephemeral works of art. Pure magic.

In fact, this is kind of a symbolic kick-off post – to me it is reminiscent of our minds being projectors of our own realities. So if you haven’t already done so, perhaps this is the time when you can decide on your very own projection for 2011. Why not make it your best year yet? Donald Trump says – “If you are going to be thinking anyway, you might as well think big.”

By the way, did you enjoy the 2010 Archive post series? Did you find it interesting and useful, or was it a waste of time? I’d love to hear your thoughts.
