Yellowtrace is in Milan during Salone del Mobile 2013.

Ciao ragazzi!

Guess where I am right now, like RIGHT now? High up in the sky headed towards Salone del Mobile in Milan. Woohoo! I am literally tingling with excitement writing these words. My mind is imagining all the incredible things I am about to discover and bring back with me to share with YOU.

There will be so much to see. Big brands putting their best foot forward in gorgeous locations, everyone who’s anyone in the world of design together in one city, emerging talent and best design schools visiting from all over the world, visionary installations all over the place, countless events and parties… The electric atmosphere in the whole entire city – the buzz on the streets, in the shops, at the showrooms, the galleries… everywhere! Achy feet, late nights, sore head from too much prosecco… Espresso, gelato, mozzarella di bufala, cotoletta alla milanese… Waaah! I am about to self-combust from all the excitement!

Right. Let me re-focus. So… I will be gone for a couple of weeks but you won’t even know it. Posts will be happening daily as per usual. In the meantime, if you are so inclined, you can revisit some of my Milan archives here and here to get your design engines revving at optimum speed. I will also be sharing my travels over on Instagram and Facebook so don’t be shy – get on board.

Ok. Wish me luck! I shall search high and low and come back with the most shit-hot design I can possibly find. This I promise you.

Love you long time,
Mama Yellowtrace xx
