And just as you thought my Milan report was over!

Well, it is over, but I just thought you might like to know that I wrote a couple of guest posts for the fabulous design*sponge where I shared some of the highlights from SaloneSatellite and Zona Tortona.

For those of you who don’t know, SaloneSatellite is a small event held as part of the main furniture fair at the gigantic exhibition centre at Rho, and it focuses on young and emerging designers. This is where I spent most of my time at the fair as I find it probably the most interesting. Although it is not nearly as lavish as the main fair, I am always so drawn to young designers as this is ultimately where the future of our industry is at.

Zona Tortona is the biggest satellite design event area outside the epic fairground – it started up nine years ago as an alternative location for emerging designers to showcase their work. Since then, Zona Tortona has become extremely popular with many of the big names and established designers now showing their work in this popular design hub during the design week.

So there you have it. You can read my posts here and here.

Go on, check them out. You know you want to.
