Who would have thought that marble quarries would have their moment in 2015? Not us, but here we are again gagging over more ‘marble quarry porn’. Trends truly are the darndest things.

This time around, the spectacular stone setting is used for the ‘Shaky Hands’ music video, the new single from Canadian indie band, Foxtrott. The angular grey-scale quarry landscape, located four hours of north of Toronto, is used to explore the idea of ‘survival of the fittest’ and features dancing men with minimalist painted faces, dressed in post apocalyptic Rick Owens-esque layered outfits. Jagged contemporary choreography contrasts against the dramatic setting, as the dancers climb, slide and lunge their way through the various parts of the quarry, including rocky debris hills, jagged mined outcrops and a deep turquoise lake.

It’s a pretty mesmerising music video, and the song is catchy, too. Watch it below.
