‘Bar Michele’ is the latest project by Beirut based studio david/nicolas. This collector piece is a bar created for a very specific environment. Inspired by a gymnastic beam, it’s shape symbolises balance. With an interesting mix of material like leather, polished brass, Iranian white Onyx marble and black painted metal, the object assumes a certain eclectic factor.

Those interacting with the piece are encouraged to either sit or straddle along the length of the tanned leather beam, leaning over and resting drinks on marble and glass tables secured above. On opposing ends, hanging below the space allotted for resting, two equestrian-style stirrups allow a seated person to support their legs for optimised comfort.
