Nordic Spirits Lab Take Cocktails to Another Level.

Friday night drinks just got a lot more exciting courtesy of the fine folk at Nordic Spirits Lab. They’ve taken drinking and gone all mad scientist on us. Bored with your stock standard G&T? Try sipping it from a beaker with wood sorrel, or knock back a gin fizz with citric acid and lager beer.

It’s all about the delicious flavours combined with the visual performance by using scientific accoutrements. Plastic hoses, test tubes, beakers, bunsen burners, pipettes, petri dishes, tubes, funnels, flasks, smoke, botanicals, fruit, flowers – you name it, Nordic Spirit Lab have served up alcoholic beverages using them! Cocktails have never looked or tasted this good.

Nordic Spirit Lab is a community of scientists, industry experts and creative visionaries redefining how, and more importantly what, the world drinks. They collaborate with some of the brightest most creative minds from both inside an outside the drinks industry.

“We explore everything that has to do with drinks and drinking: the social, commercial, and scientific dimensions of production and consumption. We collaborate and experiment. We deconstruct things. Then we put them together in new ways. We imagine things that don’t exist. Then we make them. Sometimes we fail. Sometimes we succeed. But we always strive to discover something new,” said the people behind this collaborative adventure.

And frankly who isn’t up for tasting new tastes, feasting visually on new ways to drink said drinks and watching the very clever amalgamation of designers, artists, inventors and scientists at work? Bottoms up!
