At Nilufar Gallery, a globally acclaimed design destination for vintage and collectable design, Nina Yashar shines a spotlight and dedicates a space to the textile artist Federica Perazzoli.

Inspired by the visual and aesthetic language of the East, Perazzoli presents her new collection of tapestries made exclusively for the famed Milanese gallery. The designs are primarily drawn from the artwork “Each time you fall in love” (mixed media on canvas).

The artist’s creation is the starting point for further departures. The work, printed on silk fabric, wallpaper, moquette and carpet, is accompanied by new contemporary pieces by Studio Nucleo, in a dreamlike and hyper-decorative atmosphere.

Federica Perazzoli is a Swiss Postwar & Contemporary artist born in 1966. She works with textures and fabrics in order to create environmental installations able to transform the domestic space into an artwork itself. She also experiments with large-scale painting, specifically created to provide continuity between different languages and narratives, while underlying the art/life relationship.
