Läderfabriken Apartment Development // Stockholm, Sweden.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – Scandinavians do it better. And in case you are not already convinced (yeah right), perhaps you will be after this post.
Läderfabriken is the latest project from the Oscar Properties, who are responsible for number of superb residential refurbishments in Stockholm – one of which I wrote about last year. Housed in a late 19th century factory building by the shore of Järla lake, the design for the contemporary apartments embraces the original industrial details of the building such as visible sprinklers, iron beams and columns. The apartments will be completed in 2013…. Yes, in case you hadn’t already noticed, these images are 3D renderings and brilliant ones at that.
This development is yet another example of what can be achieved when heritage bones meet modern design – beautiful, liveable spaces loaded with personality and atmosphere. Amen to that!

So perfect. Absolutely amazing
Anyone know what material the floor is made from? Love the finish of it.
Hi, I agree Scandinavians do it better, these apartments are stunning. Does anyone know if those particular pendant lights are available in Australia ?

The prettiest project I ´ve ever seen!
Just love the capability of rendering. I am a budding residential drafter with 99% of cert IV done but not yet owning any economic software.

Sasha, these images are computer renderings, but I dare say the flooring (in living areas) is recycled timber.
