Holy smokes. This has to be one of the sweetest things I’ve seen in AGES. First of all – how friggin gorgeous is that first photo. *Squeal!*

Balloon Bench is a sculpture created by Japanese designer Satoshi Itasaka from h220430 studio. Visually inspired by the old French movie, Le Ballon Rouge, this floating bench appears to be held up by bunches of balloons at either end. It is in fact attached to the ceiling with 4 anchors concealed by clusters of polyethylene balloons.

    Extreme love!

Wow, thank you for this image today. That is just gorgeous! Straight away I thought of that film, Le Ballon Rouge. It is one of those films that has stuck with me for years. I looked it up and can’t believe it was made in 1956!
      Thanks for sharing …

    2. God I love design like this!
      It just makes you smile.
Right away I want to sit down with Satoshi, this is a guy that is going to make me laugh. Someone who sees the joy in life.
