In case you didn’t guess it, this installation is based on Leonardo da Vinci’s La Cène, or more commonly known as The Last Supper.
I thought it was very interesting that Francine completed her education in interior architecture and fine arts from the School of Decorative Arts in Strasbourg, France. This work initially struck me as a mix of art and interiors. Francine now lives in New York City, where aside from art, she also practices architecture and design.

Such a clever concept. I love new interpretations of iconic artworks, especially when they are so unexpected and not so obvious.
