Responding to rapid changes across office space and design, contemporary furniture brand Reddie is aiming to change work lives with their new Non-Corporate Workstation (NCW). The first-ever workstation by the brand, NCW aligns with Reddie’s customizable approach to furniture-making. The new-era workspace design showcases the versatility and durability of multiple material options, with a focus on natural materials.

With three different size options and two various divider heights, the NCW is adaptable to suit various spatial needs and style, from expansive offices to those more intimate. Clients can tailor their project with a choice of either timber or laminate table tops with solid timber edging and rattan or perforated metal dividers. This is all alongside a slim-line design and simple cable management, with a discreet feature that allows wires to be run through points in the workstation’s hollow metal legs.

The predominant natural materials, such as timber and rattan, were selected in the hopes of creating a warmer, more inspiring workplace, essentially aiming to make users feel as though they’re not at work. Considering a workstation is where many employees spend most of their time, it makes sense to pay it some aesthetic attention.

“We received lots of feedback from designers stating workstations were still very generic, dull and overly complicated, despite the workplace environment rapidly evolving to a more residential aesthetic. We decided to change that with the creation of the NCW, designing a pared-back, minimalist workstation where you’d feel inspired and enjoy working from”, says Reddie Co-Founder and Director, Andrew Olah.

Billing their style as timeless design with a touch of retro, Reddie collections combine minimalist design with artisanal details. Their own production facility was built from the ground up in Java, Indonesia, supporting local master artisans trained in traditional Danish woodwork.
