Nice Projects has shared with us their latest project—the Singapore headquarters for The Lo & Behold Group. This interior strikes a clever balance between respecting what came before and creating a workspace that actually works for today’s creative teams. The project transforms a former Brutalist library in New Bahru into a 485-square-metre office that feels both historic and completely fresh. The brief was tricky: how do you work with those massive concrete vaults and rigid geometry while building spaces where people feel inspired and want to collaborate in?“We wanted to honour the Brutalist structure while making it feel intimate and alive,” says Nice Projects co-founder Sacha Leong. “The result is a workspace that balances history with modernity and functionality with warmth.”1970s NoMad Building Gets a Contemporary Makeover as Financial Firm HQ by Float Studio.Smart design decisions define Float Studio's NoMad headquarters project. Working within the historic building, the team created a financial firm workspace that honours 1970s architectural character. Smart moves can be seen throughout. The boardroom pulls double duty as a tasting room for Clink Clink, The Lo & Behold Group’s wine partner. It feels more like someone’s dining room than a stuffy meeting space—which makes total sense for a hospitality company.Walk through the lobby (featuring local artist Dawn Ng’s work) and you hit the main workspace—a double-height beauty with the kitchen and lounge right at the centre. Big communal tables get people talking, while the window ledges work as standing desks. Simple but effective. The custom workstations keep things tidy with built-in storage and Forbo linoleum tops. There’s a dedicated photo studio for the creative team, plus cork walls perfect for pinning up ideas and mood boards.Nice Projects Weaves a Narrative of Cultural Authenticity at Somma Singapore.Excellence in hospitality design isn't just about aesthetics—it's about creating authentic experiences. Nice Projects' Somma Restaurant shows how... But here’s the killer detail: burnt red timber throughout the kitchen area. It’s warm, it’s bold, and it gives the whole place a serious sense of identity. “Our goal was to create an environment that inspires creativity while respecting the building’s legacy,” adds co-founder Simone McEwan. The smaller meeting rooms and offices sit around the edges, keeping that open feel alive. Nothing feels corporate or stuffy—it’s collaborative without trying too hard.Nice Projects launched in 2020, and this Singapore office shows exactly what they’re about: spaces that work hard but feel effortless. For The Lo & Behold Group, it’s a headquarters that actually reflects how they think about hospitality.Hitting the High Notes: Ceremony of Roses LA HQ by 22RE.Striking the perfect balance between the mechanic and the organic, the revitalisation of this 1950s vaulted warehouse in LA becomes the perfect space to house Ceremony of Roses’ HQ, fitting a diverse program of uses into 650-square-metres.
