In Melbourne’s Camberwell, Glyndon, a collaboration with architecture firm Cera Stribley and interior designer Lauren Tarrant’s first foray into multi-residential design, is redefining expectations for townhouse living with interiors that feel anything but expected.Over three years in development, this project reinterprets Federation-era Camberwell through a contemporary Parisian lens—a departure from the cookie-cutter approach we often see in multi-residential spaces. Tarrant has maintained her signature residential touch while scaling it for multiple homes. Each residence features soaring ceilings and expansive glazing that draws natural northern light deep into living spaces. The material palette speaks of quiet luxury—natural European Oak floor parquetry in a custom pattern developed with Tarrant, vein-matched stone, and travertine all anchor the interiors with earthy sophistication. Custom joinery pieces function as practical sculpture, integrating seamlessly with concealed appliances in the marble-lined kitchens.“For Glyndon, it was important to create spaces that are both beautiful and deeply functional,” explains Tarrant. “Each home reflects a dedication to craftsmanship, with carefully selected materials and thoughtful details that elevate everyday living.” This Yellowtrace Promotion is supported by Above Zero. Options include a private spa sanctuary complete with timber sauna and cold and hot plunge, or a cinematic wine lounge with bespoke cellar joinery—both designed in collaboration with Tarrant. The project achieves a 7.5-star energy rating, thanks to north-facing courtyards and thermally efficient materials, which contribute to homes that are both comfortable and beautiful. It’s this thoughtful balance between aesthetics and functionality that elevates Glyndon beyond typical multi-residential offerings. The result is a collection of homes that feel individually crafted rather than mass-produced—each space balancing ornate expression with minimalist restraint in a way that feels timeless rather than trend-driven.Priced from $2.4 million, Glyndon launches officially this month (May 2025), with construction scheduled to begin in Q3 2025.
