The genius that is Alexandre De Betak of Bureau Betak strikes again (and again). This time with a knockout mirrored kaleidoscopic installation for Portuguese fashion designer Felipe Oliveira Baptista. Marking the 10th anniversary of the fashion designer’s line, the exhibition took place at Museu do Design e da Moda (MUDE), the design and fashion museum in Lisbon, Portugal.
American photographer, Autumn de Wilde has designed a pair of transparent and reflective jewel toned structures for a photo-shoot in the dry Californian landscape. Made of a combination of mirror and coloured plexiglass, images of the landscape are reflected on the structure, and the landscape is simultaneously cast with rose, warm gold and aqua tinted sunlight. The reciprocal exchange of colour, light and refraction are truly exquisite.

It’s not difficult to see why Lerkenfeldt is a highly respected Danish photographer in demand. She is the master of composition, colour and light. Judging from these images, there’s no doubt she also gets to work with seriously talented stylists…
I spotted this dreamy fashion editorial in the current issue of Harper’s Bazaar China called “Dream of the Dress”. I love the surreal, fairytale-seque feel of these images – the clothes, the set, the hair & make up all work perfectly together to create a little parallel reality that equally appeals to both my “grown up” self and the “big kid” that’s still very much inside…
I’m so excited to share with you one of the latest projects designed by Yellowtrace – the Gumtree Garden pop-up bar which took place over just 4 nights during November. This very special pop-up bar was built in less than 48 hours, featuring items sourced on Gumtree in the local Sydney area. Situated in the heart of The Rocks, on Sydney’s oldest cobblestoned lane-way – Kendall Lane, the pop-up served fine Australian beer and wine and a delicious menu created by celebrity chef Hayden Quinn…
