Right-o! Do you remember my recent post about The Research Agency workplace interior by Jose Gutierrez? Yes? Good stuff. Well I’m back with more from the talented Mr Gutierrez who also designed this tiny little gem in 2010 – a 60sqm office space for R S Scoular, a boutique law office located within a 1920′s heritage building in Auckland, New Zealand.

The brief was to create a clean, simple and elegant office that also had a “certain seriousness” about it. The openness and character of the space was respected and bespoke joinery units were carefully designed and inserted to create the architecture. - JG.

I love nothing more than seeing wonderful examples of workplace interiors. I often harp on about the lack of good commercial design and whenever I see a fine specimen which goes against my theory, I feel super happy. Enter The Research Agency, a boutique market research company in Auckland, New Zealand. This 200sqm fit out designed by Jose Gutierrez is a little gem. Situated in a 1920s building, the space is blessed with a fantastic bone structure which has been cleverly overlaid with a bold, sleek and beautifully detailed interior.
