I’m sure we’ve all seen a million photos of animals before, right? Well… these images are just a little bit different. ‘More Than Human’ is the latest project by London-based photographer Tim Flach, who is best known for his highly conceptual portraits of animals, particularly horses.

These extraordinary images captures animals’ intriguing gestures and expressions in a series of intimate moments, all of which reveal a real depth and rawness of emotion. This project is a real reminder that humans are not the only creatures on our planet capable of experiencing love, happiness, sadness…

Intense, extreme, crazy love.

By the way, if you were wondering about the “plucked” chicken, apparently it was specially bred to be featherless…
