British designer Faye Toogood opens the doors to her cozy late-Georgian London house she shares with her husband and young daughter. Its small rooms are filled with things antique and modern, fine and flea market. “I like to combine the precious and the raw,” says Toogood.

I have to say that I now admire this woman even more having seen this video. It was so nice to hear her talk about her home, what it means to her and how the space was never really designed, but rather evolved over time with collection of objects she’d collected. Unlike her work which is highly conceptual, unexpected and theatrical, her home feels natural, easy, relaxed and exceptionally comfortable. Just beautiful.
