Happy Holidays from Yellowtrace & Slim Aarons!

    20th December

Dearest Yellowtracers, Can you believe we’ve almost reached the end of another amazing year together? What more could I possibly say that I haven’t already? You know I totally love you guys, right? By now it should be bleeding obvious. I heard a little saying the other day which made me laugh and I wanted to share it with you guys. “Life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes”…

Winter Illuminations at Nabana no Sato, Japan… And it’s time for a little break!

    21st December

…And so I leave you with these stunning images of the mesmerising light tunnel in Japan called ‘Winter Illuminations’. This event takes place each year at Nabana no Sato, a botanical garden on the island of Nagashima in Kuwana. This light show uses millions of sparkling LEDs, and it runs from early November through to end of March. Isn’t it just incredible? I thought it was the most fitting way to mark this silly season, and wish you a sparkling New Year and Extremely Happy Holidays…

Ciao for Now… Oh and Some News!

    16th December

Once again we reach the day when it’s time to pack up for the year, take a bow (and a little break), and also thank you – my wonderful readers – for your amazing support during 2011. Not only has this site grown so much this year, I feel like I have done a lot of growing (up) myself, especially having taken that scary and exciting Leap of Faith back in June… Wowee! 2011 has been such an amazing ride for yellowtrace and for me personally. And how about you – was it a good year for you too? Do share, I’d really love to know.

Before I sign off, I wanted to tell you about what’s happening in the next few weeks and also share some news. For those of you who will be online during the next two weeks, I have …

    European Adventure 2011.

    11th May

Hello muffins! It’s me – little miss yellowtrace. Yes, the rumours are true – I’m back! I’ve missed you guys so much. How have you been? Did you enjoy all the guests posts while I was away? Did you have a favourite? Tell me, tell me, tell me! I want to hear everything. Anyway, I really do hope so – I personally thought they were rockin’ man.

As for me… Well… I had the most amazing time. Europe was off-the-hook-insanely-awesome! True story. Seriously, how lucky am I to be able to take four entire weeks off to travel around? I don’t want to sound like I’m rubbing it in or anything, but I really do feel lucky. My bank account not so much, but my heart is full of joy and my mind is bursting with inspiration and beautiful memories…

    Aaaaand CUT. Happy Holidays!

    22nd December

Goodness me. Where has the year gone? Does anybody know? It’s frightening.

I am too excited for words about 2011, I feel like jumping out of my own skin. And I can’t even begin to tell you how much I am looking forward to sharing it with you guys. I really, really do. So this is a little see-ya-later and enjoy-your-holidays post.

For those of you who will be online during the next two weeks, I have prepared a special little post series which will be running over the holiday break, starting from next Monday. The series is a collection of my favourite and most popular posts in various categories I cover. I thought that this would give you a chance to dig through the archives if you are a recent comer, or if you are the type of person …
