Faliro Loft by ése Studio // Athens.

    29th January

I’m generally a believer in less is more, but this warehouse conversion by ése Studio Architects of Athens, is teaching me a thing or two. This part office, part apartment space is a texture and pattern mash-up party and everyone’s invited…

Sweet Alchemy by Kois Associated Architects // Athens, Greece.

    19th October

In my professional opinion, this project is what I like to refer to as “the shit”. You know – as in shit-hot amazeballs-type-interior. Also known as extreme love. It’s beauty alone could break many eyeballs and melt the internet. So what is it? I’m so glad you asked. As the title of the post suggests, Sweet Alchemy is a pastry shop designed by a Greek firm Kois Associated Architects for a celebrity pastry chef Stelios Parliaros…

LINEA PIU Boutique by Kois Associated Architects // Mykonos, Greece.

    13th July

Oooh la la! Fancy-pants retail establishment alert. Oh yeah! Designed by Kois Associated Architects, the new LINEA PIU boutique in Mykonos caries the creme de la creme of women’s luxury fashion – think Chanel, Tom Ford and John Galliano. This impeccable interior certainly looks highly resolved and feels just as expensive as the brands it was designed to represent and sell…

    Jonathan Saiz // ALKAHEST.

    6th June

Jonathan Saiz is a young American artist (b. 1983) who has spent the last few months working and residing on the island of Mykonos (poor man, how tough!) completing a series of these incredible large-scale oil paintings titled “ALKAHEST”.

“ALKAHEST” [ˈælkəˌhɛst] is “the hypothetical universal solvent sought by the alchemist”. In keeping with this definition, Jonathan’s paintings depict complex geometric crystalline shapes, with glimpses and reflections into another world. This is such an intriguing and mystical body of work – shifting particles and reflections of statues, stallions, birds in flights and ornate patterns are almost incoherent, yet somehow – when you stare at them long enough – everything starts to make perfect sense…

Moda Bagno/ Interni Showroom by K-Studio | Athens, Greece.

    7th November

Hello everyone! I decided to kick off the week with a submission I received from my friends in Greece. Well, actually, they are not my real friends, but being Serbian I consider (almost) all Greeks to be my friends by default. But let’s not get into that right now…

This fantastic project is a submission from k-studio, talented and vibrant design & architecture firm established in Athens in 2002 by brothers Dimitris and Konstantinos Karampatakis (awesome names or what?)

K-studio has completed the new Moda Bagno/ Interni store in Alimos area in Athens. The 1000sqm space hosts Moda Bagno and Interni’s entire range of designer products. This includes contemporary classic furniture, bathrooms and kitchens. Below is a little description from k-studio.

The building is a large 12mHx14mWx16mD box. The street facade is clad with expanded metal …
