Fig Facial Bar in Vancouver by Scott & Scott Architects.

Occupying just 37sqm in an early 1900’s shopfront, Fig Facial Bar is complemented by neighbouring Vancouver health and lifestyle boutiques. Green perforated steel clads the walls, with Scott & Scott Architects using it to form scalloped nooks with glass skeleton shelves displaying product and select inventory.

Following the colour palette of a fig, a system of integrated details and velvet curtains are utilized to create an immersive experience with soft acoustics and illumination at Vancouver’s Fig Facial Bar. Scott & Scott Architects use the full height curtains to conceal three private pods, used for skin treatments and injections, creating a uniform enclosure.
