Let’s not beat around the bush here. These freaking hilarious images had me convulsing with laughter, and I simply had to share the love. This clever and cunning photography series, titled ‘Let Them Eat Cake’, is the work of Max Siedentopf shot in collaboration with Stephanie Gonot in Los Angeles.

Super-sharp and incredibly witty combination of bold colours, nana motifs, cake icing and ironic, rude and plain bitchy one-liners are absolutely spot on. It’s not my birthday for a while, but this is the sort of cake I’ll be hoping for.

Max Siedentopf is an art director who grew up in Windhoek, Namibia and continued to live in Berlin and Los Angeles. Right now, Max lives in Amsterdam. You also might like to know that this series will soon be produced as birthday cards. Hook me up with a pack of 20. Right NOW!
