Scandinavian furniture emporium Fred International has reopened its Rosebery showroom following an extensive redesign that re-imagines the space as two hundred square metres of Scandinavian living in the heart of Sydney. Renowned as one of Australia’s premiere distributors of Scandinavian furniture, lighting and homewares, Fred International’s Michael Liira (Founder) and Melissa Walker (Managing Director) sought the help of interior stylist Simone Haag and interior designer Angela Harry to transform the space. In embracing the design principles of form and function, Haag and Harry set out to create a space that evoked the warmth of a Scandinavian home rather than the traditional furniture showroom experience.

Fred International represents a total of 11 brands, from the iconic Karl Andersson (a family-owned firm founded in 1898) and Swedese, to conceptual furniture company Mitab and lighting by Rubn. Working with the best and brightest architects and product designers, every partner ensures that fresh, innovative and timeless products are launched each year.

Fred Intentional showroom is located at The Cannery, B4, 85 Dunning Avenue, Rosebery.
