Designed by Framework StudioWaldeck is a new bar in Amsterdam, named after the street on which it is located. The centre of the design is the large bar located in the middle of the space, which defines the layout of the interior.

Many of the classic bar materials and colours have been used, such as oak timber, brass, mirror surfaces, tiles, carpeted floors, rattan and marble, shades of red and blue, each one applied in a completely unexpected way and designed with unique detail.

At the rear of the bar, the atmosphere hints at the Art Deco era, with wall panelings in deep blue colours mixed with clear and tinted mirror, in front of which sits a long bench upholstered in velvet and leather in deep red colours. During the day, crisps colours and sharp details make a fresh statement, while at night-time, the brass and dark red colours become more intense, creating an atmosphere for afterwork drinks and dinner.
