This is not the first time we’re featuring the work of Elena Mora. But, I mean, can you blame a girl? Cause when something is as banging as Elena’s portfolio, you’ve gots to go for the seconds, right? Exactly – so glad you agree.

Elena is an Italian freelance interior stylist and set designer currently living in Hamburg. How does an Italian end up in Germany? Who the hell knows. Seriously, the two countries couldn’t be more culturally opposite to each other, but I feel it’s precisely this contrast between the two environments that’s making Elena’s work so damn exciting. The Italian passion meets German precision. The result is something that’s difficult to describe. It’s sharp yet poetic, exacting yet conceptual. It’s all that I love, and some which I never knew I loved until Elena opened my eyes to it.

Elena’s practice is informed by different media like graphic design, photography, installation and visual arts. This multidisciplinary and diverse approach comes to play in different fields — set design, interior design, still life and art direction.

A peculiar note in her work is the attention paid to details and the spotlight on the surrealist element in the images. Her compositions are infused with an emotional facet that transform objects into subjects.

And yes, you can definitely count me as a massive fan.

Enjoy the eye candy! X
