Chris Godfrey, visual effects supervisor on The Great Gatsby, released this before and after reel which reveals how Baz Luhrmann’s vision of the Roaring Twenties was constructed after the movie was shot. Talk about lavish retina-busting visual ecstasy. If you ever wondered how they achieved such a visually spectacular result in the movie, this video is a real eye opener!

Haunting and spine-tinbling theme song by Lana del Rey – “Young and Beautiful” – is a perfect choice for this mesmerising clip. Enjoy!
