Despite looking like the home of someone extremely cool and annoyingly glamorous, The Apartment is in fact a shop-able boutique. The project was brought to life by fashion stylists Vanessa Traina and Morgan Wendelborn as an extension of their online store The Line.

The latest project by our friends from UDA Architetti sits on the mezzanine level of a building overlooking Turin’s Piazza San Carlo, the symbol of the city.This 150sqm three bedroom apartment is crafted with rigour and close attention to detail. Each element – the shape and size of surfaces, the furniture, objects and fittings, tells a story that goes beyond their initial appearance.
This home belongs to the designer & illustrator Caroline Gomez, who shares the space with her husband and their young daughter. The house is located in a former jukebox and pinball repair shop built in the 30′s. What I love the most about this space is the way colour was used strategically to highlight areas, create little events and delineate zones within the larger space. Such a fantastic way to to establish a mood in a room and tell a little story…
