    The Jane Restaurant in Antwerp // Divine Fine Dining by Piet Boon.

    1st April

    Tucked in the middle of the up-and-coming Groen Kwartier, The Jane Antwerp is the much anticipated establishment of star chef Sergio Herman and chef Nick Bril. Housed within the chapel of a former military hospital, the restaurant’s interior was the charge of Dutch designer Piet Boon who enlisted the help of a number of extremely awesome collaborators on commissioned elements.

    At the Bellelay Abbey (Abbatiale de Bellelay), lost in deepest darkest Switzerland, a mesmerizing installation of Romain Crelier’s work is on display until September 16th. Crelier is a Swiss artist who explores many techniques, amongst them beautifully ghostly reflections. Entitled La Mise en Abîme, the installation comprises two large, extremely precise and impeccably finished receptacles in which vast quantities of used oil are contained…

Places of succour and support for the soul. And in the hands of the right architect, cracking opportunities for beautiful architecture. And so to Britain, where Niall McLaughlin Architects has added the Bishop Edward King Chapel to the cluster of buildings at Ripon Theological College nestled in the countryside north of Oxford…
