Yellowtrace 4th Birthday // Reader Survey + Thin Black Lines GIVEAWAY!!

    27th November

Dearest Yellowtracers, Can you believe we’ve been friends for almost 4 years now? True story! This blog turns 4 on December 1st. I would like to thank each and every one of you for spending a part of your day with Yellowtrace – for your time, the trust you place in us, for coming back to visit us – sometimes on your own, sometimes with your friends and loved ones. In our continued commitment to develop this site, I hope you will take a moment to complete our 2013 Reader Survey. In return, I will shower you with love and affection (lucky you), which may of may not include countless virtual bum-taps and high fives. But more importantly, completing the survey will give you the chance to win some awesome prizes. Given it is our (almost) 4th birthday, we’ve curated a prize pool around one of my all time favourite design trends – Thin Black Lines. Hooray! We’ve partnered with 7 of our valued friends and sponsors who are generously offering you the chance to win fantastic prizes valued at $4,500. I know – shut up! Let’s have a closer look at the super cool stuff that’s up for grabs…

    One Thousand Posts and Stuff…

    16th September

Dearest readers, this post is part self-indulgent, part a little thank-you for hanging out with us for One Thousand posts. Hooray! I seriously cannot believe I’ve hit the “publish button” 1000 times. So much has happened since the beginning of Yellowtrace, both personally and work-wise. The last three or so years have been the scariest and by far the awesomest in my life. And things are about to get even more exciting…

Design Free Thursday // Baguetting Around.

    25th July

Just as I though I’d seen it all, along comes another left of field Tumblr blog. Baguette-Me-Nots is a brainchild of comedians Tim Bierbaum and John Milhiser of Serious Lunch. The duo take photos of actors and comedians who substitute ordinary objects with baguettes. So dumb yet extremely hilarious…

    Introducing // Yellowtrace TV.

    1st July

Dearest Design Lovin’ Dudes, I’m super excited to tell you that Yellowtrace now has a TV. Errrr, actually… I’m not here to brag about some giant TV we bought – no sir – nobody wants to hear about that, except maybe for the boys. Boring! What I really meant is that, in addition to the regular daily posting, you will now be seeing video content each week…

Yellowtrace 3rd Birthday // Reader Survey + YELLOW GIVEAWAY!!

    30th November

Dearest, dearest readers! Guess what? Yellowtrace is going to be 3 years old tomorrow! Can you seriously believe it? As a reward for your efforts, you will be given the chance to win some incredible prizes. In honour of our signature colour, yellowtrace has partnered with 9 of our valued sponsors who are generously offering you the chance to win 13 fantastic prizes valued over $3,000 AUD! Totes amaze, no? Why don’t you move a little bit closer so I can tell you a bit more about the prizes…

    Introducing // Yellowtrace Post Gallery.

    6th August

Well, we finally did it! Post Gallery is live and ready for some action baby! Woot! We introduced it as an added feature for easier visual navigation through all the blog posts. It is also there to feed you an unhealthy dose of high-octane design inspiration. You can browse through the latest articles by looking at images without having to read the text, or focus your search around specific categories or months etc…
