    Fabrica Launches Extra-Ordinary Gallery with Exquisite Handmade Design Objects.

    Italian based communication research centre Fabrica recently launched ‘Extra-Ordinary Gallery’, a collection of ordinary objects designed by a team of Fabrica’s multicultural designers and entirely made by hand in Italy. Daily rituals made special through attention to detail. The formal simplicity, shapes and materials of these objects become a tribute to the beauty of basic and small pleasures in life.

    Stockholm-based Scotsman David “Superdave” Taylor is a true contemporary artisan who incorporates elements of design, art and metal craft in his work. Taylor cleverly combines post-industrial waste with precious metal, DIY components and other materials, and creates unique and extraordinary objects such as candle holders, dishes, lamps and mirrors. In his recent body of work, Taylor created a series of candlesticks with human characteristic, with each piece bearing it’s own name…
