Joining the recently released Polar Desk Lamp is the new Polar Wall Light by Australian designer Ross Gardam. The Polar Wall Light has the ability to cleverly manipulate light and shadow within a space. The product uses a unique hinged disk, allowing the disk to pivot up or down, softly directing the light output. This creates a light which can act as an uplight, downlight, feature light or a light that easily can change at the touch of the hand.

The circular motif used throughout the Polar collection defines its minimal operative form. Both the desk and wall light explore articulation and reflection of light. Polar’s form and movement are inspired by natural seasonal phases of light.

“In a way Polar was a study in minimal form and function, although the final make up of the product is quite complex and technical, the appearance and articulation are just as they should be.” says Gardam. “The Polar wall light offers the latest in LED technology, offering dimmable light without the need of a cumbersome transformer.”
