Product Design: Furniture, 2015 Archive | Yellowtrace

It should come as no surprise that we have a seriously soft spot for beautiful furniture here at Yellowtrace. Like, duh! Our Product Design Furniture roundup brings you all the stories in which we have covered pieces such as seating (sofas, chairs, stools), tables (dining, coffee & side tables) and storage (consoles, credenzas and wardrobes).

Our coverage of Product Design has grown significantly this year, which is why we are splitting it onto four separate roundups in order to keep the posts more specific. Look out for separate Product Design roundups for Lighting, Concepts and Small Objects & Accessories.

Love your pages with smaller photos. This page is followed by page with numbered items and some information about them. The photo page is lacking numbers. Granted this is a small point, but I have noticed you are using ‘light color’ numbers on dark pages and ‘dark colored’ numbers on light pages. Perhaps the missing numbers are just part of your design concept.
My previous exposure to the media has trained me to expect all the photos to have numbers. Especially if some of the pictures have numbers. Again– a small thing, but it resonated

Also enjoy the idea that you are doing an ‘end of the year’ wrap up. Showing the best designs in different areas and categories. Would you have space for viewer choice?

I find myself interested in the cost of some of these items. Would you ever consider doing a ‘double’ issue– a spare no expense, and a bargin basement ( cheap ) issue?

Loving good design is costly to your budget.

Until today the worldwide resonance is impressive.
