MILANTRACE Edizione 2015

Holy Macaroni! MILANTRACE is back baby. Are we insane? Yes, we are, and we are doing it again! Whoop whoop! For the uninitiated amongst you who might be wondering why I’m sounding like I snorted some of the good stuff for breakfast, here’s what’s happening. MILANTRACE Edizione 2015 is the ultimate report covering Salone del Mobile & Milan Design Week, the World’s premier design event, taking place in Milan from 14th to 19th of April. Team Yellowtrace will be on the ground for the entire week, deploying our superhuman ability to source striking and inspiring content, stopping at nothing until we’ve combed the fair and the city on your behalf. We are taking with us our highly tuned lens aimed at uncovering all that is golden. We will be reporting daily on our Instagram feed (follow #MILANTRACE2015 hashtag for Milan-centric goodness). Upon our return, you can expect to see a comprehensive Milan digital report appearing on our dedicated Microsite called – wait for it – MILANTRACE Edizione 2015 – with images, articles, videos, the lot. In parallel to this, we will set out to deliver a National Speaking Tour which will bring a little bit of Milan to the Australian design community. Phew. Do you see now why I’m so excited?

This has been a huge start to the year for Yellowtrace. We’ve received a significant amount of international recognition from Word’s best publications, some of them recognising us as “Milan Design Week experts” (is there such a thing?). We’ve also received several exciting invitations from Salone del Mobile organisers themselves. (I nearly fell off my chair when I took a personal call from Marva Griffin the other day – if you don’t know who she is – google her!) I say all this because I am excited about the fact that this year we are getting access to a higher calibre of Milan goodness, which will undoubtedly result in better content. Hooray! All the hard work is finally kinda/ sorta paying off you guys.

But enough about me. Let’s talk about our wonderful friends and partners who’s support is making all this possible. Without these people there would be no MILANTRACE nor trips to Milano. No sir. We are once again partnering with our friends at Rogerseller who are supporting our digital report – i.e. MILANTRACE Microsite. This year we are also welcoming Living Edge and Walter Knoll to the Yellowtrace family, who are also supporting our digital report, as well as hosting our National Talks Series. That’s right people – our talks this year are taking place in the beautiful Living Edge showrooms in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane & Perth.

We are also excited to be working with Design Institute of Australia (DIA) once again, this time as our Industry and Event Partners around the country, which is just a little bit awesome.

COME TO THE TALKS!
