Dearest friends,

It’s been nearly 3 months since we launched MILANTRACE Edizione 2014 – world’s first interactive digital magazine & video series dedicated to Salone Del Mobile and Milan Design Week. Not only did we break some kind of world record by producing the most comprehensive Milan Design Week review ever with the tiniest team, we also set off on a sold out national speaking tour. Talks were held in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth in the space of 3 weeks, while I was running on 4 hours of sleep per week max. Ok, that might be a slight exaggeration but that’s seriously how if felt. Regardless of the pain and the extraordinary workload, being able to connect with so many of you in person was the most amazing experience, not to mention giving you the taste of what one of my colleagues calls “Yellowtrace Live” – as in just like this site, but hanging out with me in real life, minus the profanities of course.

It’s fair to say I’m only just slowly starting to be able to talk about MILANTRACE again, hence this very delayed post event wrap-up as a huge thank-you to all of you who came along to all the talks. I can’t ever begin to explain how much we appreciate your incredible words of encouragement for this very ambitions, and slightly insane project of ours. By the way, I got to speak to over a thousand of you across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane & Perth. Is it just me, or is that a little bit nuts!?

Once again, a huge, enormous and heart-felt THANK YOU to our select sponsor and event host Rogerseller, and to our amazing premium sponsors Own WorldHaymes & designEX who’s support has made all of this possible.

If you haven’t already, I encourage you to take a look at MILANTRACE magazine, and if you already have – what the heck – why not jump on there again. There is so much amazing content in that little baby, we could have easily based all our Yellowtrace website content on it for more than 6 months. Dead serious.
