This innovative and playful kit is the first step in growing your own food. It comes with all you need to start growing microgreens; a PP foldable green-house (completely recyclable), agar powder to create a gel-based growing medium, 3 varieties of organic seeds – peppery rocket, crunchy mustard and spicy radish + instructions.

Tomorrow Machine is a Swedish design studio that specialises in packaging, product, and food concepts. They recently partnered with INFARM, a Berlin-based indoor farming start up, to develop a never-before-seen microgreen indoor growing kit. ‘Microgarden’ as the next generation of home farming – an incubator that aims to provide urban communities with the freedom to grow fresh, organic produce, no matter the season, right at home.

Starting with an origami-inspired microgreen kit, ‘Microgarden’ aims to change the way city dwellers grow and consume food. “Our vision is that the ‘Microgarden’ makes indoor farming available and easy for everyone. Where you can have delicious greens without pesticides or long transportation, by growing it in your own home, it does not get more local and organic than that” explain Tomorrow Machine. Good for the environment and for your bellies, not to mention beautifully designed! It’s a no brainer – 10 points from us!
