Maison et Objet 2013 Highlights by Yellowtrace.

With September edition of MAISON&OBJET is behind us, and so many delicious submissions in my inbox, I couldn’t help but bring you a little roundup of some of the highlights from this major French trade fair held biannually in Paris.

See all the posts from our comprehensive report from MAISON&OBJET and Paris Design Week 2012.

Kicking off with a persona favourite – a stunning glass collection developed without the aid of today’s digital tools. Taking Fabrica designers’ hand drawings, artisan glass blower Massimo Lunardon, interpreted the sketches and brought them to life without following any specific dimensions. This is a limited edition collection of 14 works by designers such as Sam Baron and Studio Formafantasma, and Fabrica designers Dean Brown, Charlotte JuillardGiorgia ZanellatoRyu Yamamoto and Valetina Carretta.
