I’ve been following the work of Ladies & Gentlemen Studio for quite some time. This young design duo continues to impress me time after time with beautifully resolved product and little elements of surprise. Seeing their work pop up during the recent ICFF / New York Design Week as part of NoHo Design District, reminded me exactly how much I love them. (Their work was presented at Noho Next – an event that featured 13 up-and-coming American designers selected by editors of Sight Unseen and NDD curators Monica Khemsurov & Jill Singer.)

Founded by Dylan Davis & Jean Lee in 2010, Ladies & Gentlemen Studio approach design in a playful way. They combine their resourcefulness and curiosity with a desire to find perfect partnerships between material and function. L&G creates a diverse set of products from small objects, to jewellery, furniture and lighting. Simple materials and sculptural sensibility are the driving forces behind most of their products.

I love it hard. All of it. By the way, and they have an online shop too.
