Well, well, well. Isn’t this apartment just a liiiiittle bit amazeballs? Damn straight. With every single detail chosen with utmost care and existing in perfect harmony with the interior, it comes as no surprise this is a home of someone creative - in this case, a Stockholm based prop stylist Joanna Laven. Pulling together what could’ve been a challenging mix of modern, mid-century and traditional pieces, Laven and her husband have created an effortlessly beautiful and elegant space.

The traditional ceiling and parquetry floors make for a classic base to work from. Mid-century and modern pieces, a sense of careful curation and at times “almost minimalism” create an atmosphere of contemporary style with a twist.

It really is all in the detail in this one. Look closely – you know you want to – and you’ll see. From furniture, lighting, finishes and trinket - everything is of the finest quality. Somehow the balance is just right – modern but liveable, classic but fresh. They’ve definitely nailed the ol’ so-hot-it-hurt “old meets new” hipster aesthetic. 10 points from us.
