Today we venture into the Greenwich Village loft of James Jebbia, which he shares with his young family. Jebbia is the owner of streetwear label, Supreme. Quite the departure from his label’s aesthetic, his home is minimal, delicate and paired back.

Perhaps the natural light pouring through those mighty steel windows made him turn to whites and neutrals. (Is that boy teeny tiny or is that one mighty enormous window?) Or perhaps his wife intervened – the styling has clearly had a feminine touch. Whatever it was, it’s working. With luscious wide board oak floors, simple furniture and the use of a singular decorative pendant to punctuate the space, the home is calm, unpretentious and easy on the eyes.

It’s not the type of space where the joinery has been detailed within an inch of it’s life. Or where every object is either designer or edited out. Yet it is carefully curated by the personalities that inhabit the home and it hangs together rather effortlessly. Ah ha! That must be where the streetwear influence steps in.

The only little thing that makes me wince a little (okay, a lot) are the borrowed light windows within the internal walls. They seem to lead into rooms that the photographer, unsurprisingly, has chosen to neglect.
