I am too excited for words. Today my little blog had a very big day – I was featured on the seriously fabulous Design For Mankind. My goodness, this is huge people. Huge I tell ya! You can read the post right here.

Design For Mankind is an award-winning blog dedicated to showcasing the talents of the emerging art and design community, with some serious “blog cred” {I thought that this occasion called for a new, made up word}. This is the first ever press coverage for yellowtrace, and you’ve all probably worked out that I am beyond excited. But above all, I am so grateful to Erin for her generosity and support. Thank you Erin!

And thank you, my faithful readers, for motivating me to keep going. Sometimes I wonder what I got myself into, and then I receive an encouraging e-mail, a happy tweet, or I meet some fantastic new people and I realise that starting this blog has been one of the best things I’ve ever done.

I’d also like to warmly welcome all the new readers who have landed here via Design For Mankind. Thank you for stopping by, for your encouraging comments so far and for joining me in my daily ramblings about all sorts of design related, beautiful to look at, well considered, meticulously designed, witty and inspiring things.

Welcome to yellowtrace.
