Flagship store for Swedish clothing brand. The original shell is striped of everything but its essential elements, leaving bare walls, exposed floors and ceilings. Custom designed furniture is arranged in different configurations to display the collections. The materials used are natural and untreated – marble, wood, glass and steel.

Led by the design principles established by the flagship store, this beautiful raw space is stripped out to only the essential elements, with lovely accents of “bling” and impeccable detailing. There is a lovely tension between the casualness of the space – leaning mirrors against the wall, untreated stone, exposed ceilings – and the rigidity of detailing, symmetry and careful planning.

Très Bien Shop, New Headquarters, Malmö. Completed in 2011.

Très Bien collection is displayed in a building which previously housed a textile factory and a flea market in central Malmö. The store was designed with a flexible layout, allowing the company to grow with the space. With most of the Très Bien sales done online, a studio space was created to allow for regular photo shoots for the webshop updates. This studio plays a central role in the design and it’s designed to be mobile.
