yellowtrace HQ baby!

Hello everyone and happy Monday to you all. I hope you had a fantastic weekend and that you are feeling energised and excited about the week ahead. Let’s kick some goals I say!

A couple of things I wanted to share with you today, both of which are kind of bragging I must admit. But I am so excited, and I just can’t hide it, I’m about to lose control and I think I like it… ummm, sorry, where was I? Oh yeah.

So… Brand new online magazine alert – hooray! We love online magazines, don’t we? And they are popping up everywhere these days. Lucky us! Adore Home is a super duper new Australian home and lifestyle magazine launched last week. Founded and created by designer Loni Parker, Adore features inspirational homes, looks at the latest products and beautiful holiday destinations.

Loni e-mailed me a little while ago asking if I was interested to have the yellowtrace HQ (haha, I make myself sound so important!) featured in the launch issue. How lovely. Check out the sneak peek above. Man, this little home office is getting a lot of mileage these days, no? Thanks very much Loni for the lovely little article, I feel so honoured to be featured in the launch issue of Adore. You can read the whole article online, pages 16 -19.

For your viewing pleasure, more sample pages from Adore are shown below.

Home of interior designer and blogger Caitlin Wilson, who’s home was also featured on the cover of Adore.

Comma’s beautiful residence in Daylesford, Victoria by Matt Martino, also featured in Adore’s launch issue.

In other news, I almost choked when I saw that yellowtrace was mentioned in the latest issue of the fabulous Inside Out magazine. Hooray! So there I was, flipping through my copy of the mag as I was laying in bed last Saturday morning. I seriously had to rub my eyes in disbelief when I saw that the section “Blogs we’re loving” on page 50 also included yours truly! WHAT?? No?! Really?! I honestly though I was still asleep and dreaming. But turns out I wasn’t, cause Husband reassured me that I was awake and that my squeals of excitement were also very much real. Oops!

Closer look at Page 50 “Blogs we’re loving” section. I even highlighted the yellowtrace bit – I know, how embarrassing. Ok, it’s official – I’m mega gay! Forgive me.

This list of blogs was compiled by the lovely Jo Walker, one half of the fabulous Design Superblog Desire To Inspire. This is not the first time Jo & Kim have been so generous and supportive of me! Seriously, how crazy luck am I? Massively.

That’s it, I’m done. No more words.

What a super-duper weekend for you. I saw the listing in InsideOut and was instantly chuffed for you my dear. I haven’t gone through Adore yet (sometimes I just get bored waiting for it to download – I obviously have a very short attention span!!) – but yipee-do-to-you yet again.

I will quote my 7yo here .. YOU ARE TOO COOL FOR SCHOOL (-:

Thank so much for letting me know about this Linda, I wouldn’t have known otherwise. Yay! yellowtrace loves being L.O.V.E.D. :)

Hi Signe, thank you for your lovely comment. Those “pictures” are framed tea towels which I picked up at a market in Melbourne last year. You could try here http://thirddrawerdown.com/ or have a look on Etsy for something similar perhaps?
