In 2015, the iconic Series 7 chair celebrates it’s 60 year anniversary. Inspired by the original colour palette designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1968, Fritz Hansen have created two jubilee models in special colours. The two anniversary editions of the Series 7 chair celebrate the diversity of contexts that Arne Jacobsen’s iconic chair has performed in during its first 60 years of life – from MoMA in New York to Centre Bakery in Tokyo.

A masculine edition comes in a dark blue lacquer shell and powder-coated burnished legs. A feminine edition is dressed in pale pink lacquer with 24-ct gold-plated legs. Side by side, the chairs highlight and complement each other’s significance, inspired by the notion that ‘opposites attract’.

Each limited edition chair has a golden plate mounted on the underside of the shell. Only available during 2015 from CULT.
