I have extreme love for these deliciously inspiring and visually arresting images by Dutch photographer Arjan Benning. His work is both subtle and striking, at times crossing the boundaries between photography and fine art. In particular, I find his underwater and flower series reminiscent of the paintings by the Dutch Masters. Do you agree?

Arjan is a magician with light, with an impeccable understanding of texture and composition, and a true master of elevating the mundane to the extraordinary.

All together now – Thank you Mr Benning for inspiring us today. You’re da man!
