This series of photographs titled MyPotholes by Canadian creative couple Claudia Ficca and Davide Luciano completely cracks me up. After their sudden collision with a canyon sized crater of a pothole, they decided to channel their frustration into a positive project where the useless pothole would be a source of humor and creativity.

Claudia and Davide capture surreal situations where they repurpose giant potholes into an ocean and a swimming pool, a giant bowl of spaghetti, a deep fryer for donuts, an ice bucket for street parties, a baptising bath etc.

Absurd, random and brilliant. Oh, and they also have a Facebook page.

Yo! So I’m trialing this new image gallery thing (above), cause I’m hoping it will help with quicker loading of the homepage. To view bigger images just click on each individual thumbnail and it will open in a separate window. Let me know what you guys think of the new system.

I absolutely love these. I laughed out loud at the ‘Bay Watch’ imaged. Very creative!
