Design Free Thursday | Dear Photograph.
30th June
Dear Photograph is a new Tumblr blog that features people’s old photos in the same location today. I have seen it literally explode all over the internet in the last couple of weeks and it is not difficult to see why – it is such a beautiful and surreal concept, and every one of us can relate to it.
It personally makes me feel really nostalgic to think about how time flies by so quickly and we don’t even realize it, which is something my mama always says…
Akio Hirata’s Exhibition of Hats by Nendo | Tokyo, Japan.
29th June
Ahhhh, Nendo, Nendo, Nendo… Is there ANYTHING you people cannot do? Seriously? Your talent it almost sickening. Except, I am completely in awe and too dazzled to feel sick right now.

Heritage Cabinet | Boca do Lobo.
28th June
Top marks for those who remember me blogging about a brilliant limited edition cabinet (“Pixel”) by Portuguese company Boca do Lobo, which was one of the standout pieces for me in Milan this year (see the post in which I featured the said cabinet right here).

This highly coveted piece is clad with hand painted tiles “like that of an expertly curate art collection”. The cabinet is inspired by Portugal’s rich heritage and “each tile has a tale to tell… what lies behind the doors – only time can tell.”
Nicolas Mathéus | Interior Photography.
27th June
No words. No need really. Just a whole lotta interiors porn by Paris based photographer Nicolas Mathéus.
Did you like the way I graduated these images by their intensity – starting with whites and neutrals, moving through to colour accents and finishing up with in-your-face OTT colour explosion? Yes, well… this is not a coincidence. I can be very cute like that when I want to. Just don’t get used to it…
Robert Montgomery.
24th June
Robert Montgomery is an artist based in London who’s work spans large typographic billboards, recycled sunlight pieces and drawings. His website says that he ”works in a poetic and melancholic post-situationist tradition”. Deep, I know. But I do tend to agree…
