Just the the other day, I received a little correction message on yellowtrace’s facebook wall to say that one of the images I had in my Visual Diary album was incorrectly labelled. What? I know – shocking! Yes, I made a mistake. I really hate it when I’m human. Anyway, the message was left by Helga Steppan, the actual author of the photo I incorrectly labelled. What do you know…

So I set out to quickly correct my mistake and, in doing so, I discovered a wonderful project which Helga did a few years back called ‘See Through’. Helga audited all of the belongings and divided them into a full spectrum of colours – White, Black, Yellow, Red, Miscellaneous, Blue, Orange, Green, Pink, Grey, Purple, and Brown. Wow! It must have taken her ages to go through all her stuff like this. But what an incredible result.

    Moral of the story?

Make more mistakes. They eventually lead you to some excellent things.

    Ha!

    Have an ace weekend.

Hello Dana, I just discovered your blog today, and I truly love It! The post you did on Helga Steppan is really interesting. I made an Issuu mini magazine for this year’s Season’s Greetings, and I gathered some green and some red objects. (still in my blog for a little white) It was fun! But of course, nothing to compare to such an incredible project!!
