Tokyo Bike is a brand spanking new venture in Surry Hills which opened for trading last Saturday {May 8th}.

They are a small and independent bicycle company which launched in the old Tokyo suburb of Yanaka eight years ago. This is where they started to sell cleverly designed bikes which were ideal for urban riding, light in weight {between 9 and 11 kilos}, beautiful to look at, and above all affordable. The Surry Hills store is their first in Australia and outside of Japan. They are also planning to open a shop in London in the near future…
